Win $300 for your U32 student athletic team, club, or other student organization and involve your students in a community-building activity! The East Montpelier Rally Day committee wants to encourage more youth involvement in the annual day-long celebration of our local community. Rally Day will hold a first-ever High School Kickball Tournament on Saturday, September 10, from 2-5:30 pm on the rec fields next to East Montpelier Elementary School. The tournament will feature 5 to 8, eight member co-ed teams as they battle for the $300 first place cash prize and $100 second prize. All cash awards will be made directly to U32 for the winning student organizations. All individual student participant names also will be placed in a drawing for fun prizes throughout the tournament! The tournament is generously underwritten by Washington Electric Coop. The deadline for sign-up is September 2, 2011. Sign-ups will be on a first-come, first-serve basis based on the date and time the roster is received by the tournament director.
